Ez a napló helyt ad minden tényszerű közlésnek, hivatkozható publikációnak, amely segít teljesebb képet adni az elmúlt idők történéseiről. Várjuk a közreműködőket. A napló nyelve magyar, de archív összeállítások anyagai angol nyelven is megjelennek amennyiben magyar fordításban nem állnak rendelkezésre

HUNAGI participated the Int’l Organising Committee Meeting of the GIS/LIS’95 chaired by Prof Á.Detrekői and D.Bomberger at the Chair of Photogrammetry, Budapest Technical University 12-14 January. About 100 papers have been received for oral and interactive poster presentations.

  • M.Havass, President of HUNAGI applied in official letter formally for membership in EUROGI on 14 March 1995.
  • HUNAGI has been elected as member of the EUROGI by its General Board Meeting held in the Hague.
  • HUNAGI participated the UDMS-EGIS Joint European Conference on GI. The Hague, 26-31 March
  • HUNAGI participated the 2nd Meeting of the National Mapping Agencies and the National Statistical Offices hosted by EUROSTAT and chaired by Robert Cubitt in Luxembourg on 4th April
  • State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr.Szent-Iványi welcomed in his letter the formation of the interdisciplinary GI association HUNAGI
  • EC DGXIII Deputy Director General Mr.Paragon-Collada welcomes HUNAGI's aims and activity in his official letter
  • HUNAGI invited EC DGXIII to exhibit and demonstrate some of the EU IMPACT 2 GIS prototype products at GIS/LIS'95 (June)
  • HUNAGI active participation at GISIG's WELL-GIS Workshop in Budapest chaired by G.Saio and P.Lévai (June)
  • HUNAGI FORUM for experts from 14 countries co-chaired by representative of EC DGXIII Werner Janusch and Dorothy Bomberger of Congress Management Institute (USA) Presentations include:

  • EC DGXIII has invited HUNAGI to the discussion of the European GI Infrastructure and policy document called "GI2000" June 21, in Luxembourg.
  • 6th MEGRIN Regional Workshop hosted by FÖMI, chaired by Sz.Mihály in Budapest, June 22. By requests, documents have been provided by the representatives of the German Regional Offices of Surveying in Baden-Württemberg (Mr.Schleyer) and Northrhine-Westfalia (K.Birth) on data, products, services and marketing.

  • Introducing GI2000 and its message for Hungary -a lecture was delivered by HUNAGI Secretary General at the 5th National GIS Conference in Szolnok (September). Additional lectures arranged by HUNAGI include Ms.Leila Aslesen of CERCO WG 1 on GI marketing and copyright issues and Joe Mousset, Secretary General of CERCO.
  • Support of EUROSTAT survey in Hungary executed by J-P. le Gorgeau of CESD on GIS/Remote Sensing applications in statistics (October)
  • HUNAGI participates actively at the Advanced Education Special Interest Committee Meeting (AESICC) held in Sopron (October)
  • As joint action of HUNAGI and the HUNGIS Foundation, the Hungarian GIS Market Survey'95 was published under the auspices of Mike Brand, President of EUROGI
    Participation of the EUROSTAT conference on “Impact of remote sensing on the European statistical information system”. G.Remetey-Fülöpp was invited to moderate the discussion on land use. The event was hosted by ISTAT in Rome between 27-29 November
  • 3rd General Assembly of HUNAGI devoted to the legal establishment. Recommendation on the establishment of the National GI Infrastructure Network (November)
  • GIS Publication of the Year: Ákos Detrekői – György Szabó: Introduction into GIS
  • Joint Meeting on Copyright issues in GIS with the Industrial Legal Protection Society (December)
  • The English language HUNGIS-HUNAGI leaflet on the Hungarian GI Market was put on the European Commission’s database I’M EUROPE by R.A. Longhorn with additional Hungarian references collected by HUNAGI by the courtesy of the Lands and Mapping Department of MoA (Report on the activities in 1995) with the kind assistance of ICA Hungarian National Committee as well as the Mapping Agency of the Hungarian Defence Forces.
